TOC for Entrepreneurs is a program that teaches you how to apply 5 Focusing Steps of TOC in your specific environment.
Each session of the program focuses on one important subject and is presented in the form of a two-hour webinar session (an hour and 40 min presenting the subject, and 20 min for online questions and answers and discussion).
Participants can enroll in the whole program, or chose sessions of their particular interest. Learning the content of Session 1 by attending it live or watching the recording is a prerequisite to participate in any other session. Each session includes a self-test that participants will take after the session to check their understanding of the session material.
Why TOC for Entrepreneurs?
According to World Bank (https://www.worldbank.org/en/topic/smefinance):
“Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) play a major role in most economies, particularly in developing countries. SMEs account for the majority of businesses worldwide and are important contributors to job creation and global economic development. They represent about 90% of businesses and more than 50% of employment worldwide. Formal SMEs contribute up to 40% of national income (GDP) in emerging economies. These numbers are significantly higher when informal SMEs are included. According to our estimates, 600 million jobs will be needed by 2030 to absorb the growing global workforce, which makes SME development a high priority for many governments around the world. In emerging markets, most formal jobs are generated by SMEs, which create 7 out of 10 jobs.”

TOC is widely known for its effective solutions for production, supply chain, and project management. However, majority of micro, small and medium enterprises operate in other areas: such as small-scale construction, providing child care, running a guest house, beauty salon, or a local bakery, providing cleaning services, or having a small manufacturing facility. Even if in manufacturing, retail or construction, micro- small-medium enterprises often feel that they do not have enough scale of operation to rigorously learn and implement standard logistical solutions of TOC. At the same time, any company, regardless of its size and area of operations, can benefit greatly from applying the central concept of TOC – the 5 Focusing Steps.

One of the most known names in TOC for developing and applying TOC concepts, tools and solutions. Co-Founder and Co-President of TOC Practitioners Alliance TOCPA (tocpractice.com) and International Director of tocExpert (tocexpert.com). Oded worked with Eli Goldratt for 33 years joining him in 1978, at the very start of TOC. Author of Ever Improve – A Guide to Managing Production the TOC Way, co-authored the book Deming & Goldratt, and together with Jelena Fedurko-Cohen co-authored the book TOC Fundamentals.
Jelena Fedurko-Cohen
Co-Founder and Co-President of TOC Practitioners Alliance TOCPA (tocpractice.com) and International Director of tocExpert (tocexpert.com). Jelena has worked with TOC since 1999, 11 years with Eli Goldratt. She is a TOC expert, trainer and consultant, and provides TOC implementation support in production, supply chain and project management. Author of several leading books on TOC logical tools.
